NOTICE INVITING QUOTATIONS

Dated 26th, February, 2014,

                 India trade Promotion Organisation, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi -110001, invites sealed quotations for the following furniture items as shown in the table from reputed manufacturers or their authorised whole sale dealers, Govt. Co-operative Stores & other Govt. Agencies/MSEs including MSEs, owned by SC/ST, entrepreneurs. The procurement from the MSEs, including MSEs, owned by SC/ST, entrepreneurs will be made as per guidelines and directions issued by Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Udyog Bhawan, New Delhi-11.

                Note: The quantity mentioned above is subject to change.

2.            The firms who will fulfil the following criteria should apply.

i)           The company/firm should have at least three years of experience of supplying such type of items in three Government Ministries & PSU’s etc.

ii)       The turnover of the company/firm not be less than Rs.50/- (Fifty) lakhs per annum during last three financial years in respect of furniture items.

iii)           The company/firm should not have been blacklisted by any Ministry/Departments Govt. of India & PSU’s etc.

iv)           The clause 2(i) & 2(ii) related to experience and turnover will not be applicable on Govt. Co-operative Stores, Govt. Agencies/ MSEs, including MSEs, owned by SC/ST, entrepreneurs.

3.       The sealed quotations should be sent in a sealed cover superscripted as “Quotation for supply of Furniture items” addressed to Dy. Manager (Stores) Room No. 1, Prantik Building, Near Gate No.1, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi-110001. The quotations should reach latest by 05.3.2014, up-to 3pm, and will be opened on the same day in the presence of interested tenderers (or) his authorised representative at 3.30 pm.

4.     Earnest Money Deposit of Rs.20, 000/- through Demand Draft in favour of India Trade Promotion organisation, New Delhi, should be attached along with the quotation. The earnest money to the unsuccessful bidders except IInd, lowest will be refunded on the same day.

           The Govt. Co-operative Stores/Govt. Agencies/MSEs, including MSEs, owned by SC/ST, entrepreneurs, are exempted from paying the earnest money.

5.        We reserve to ourselves unfettered right to reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason thereof or to buy only a part of items for which the quotations are invited.

6.         The price quoted should be inclusive freight, packing forwarding and insurance. If sale tax, excise duty and DAVT, etc, are to be paid extra, this should be clearly specified in the Tender/quotation. In the absence of any stipulation, it will be assumed that the quotation is inclusive these taxes.

7.          The order if awarded will be subject to our standard, conditions of contract.

8.          The contract will be valid for a period of one year.

9.           No request for escalation of rates would be entertained after approval of the rates.

10.      Tender/quotation may please be quoted as per items. Cutting/ over writing, if any, should be counter signed.  

11.     The tender document is also available on our website www.indiatradefair.com and same can be downloaded for submitting the quotation.  In case the quotation is not accompanied by valid demand draft as earnest money for the same except Govt. Co-operative  Stores/Govt. Agencies/MSEs, including MSEs, owned by SC/ST, entrepreneurs  and document not showing eligibility criteria area as mentioned above, the quotation will be summarily be rejected.
