  • Since many Independent organizations under the Ministry of Power constituted the Power Pavilion, and since all of them were obviously not in the same league, I would like to know which organization according to the Jury, contributed to its merit of winning the Gold Prize.
In assessing the merit of any Pavilion, as in the case of Ministry of Power, independent organization which are part of main Pavilion are judged collectively not independently. It is commonly found in Ministry, State, or even in large Private Organisations, constituents departments some of which independent decision process and budgets present themselves collectively as one Pavilion and are accordingly judged. Display techniques and approaches vary greatly from constituent to constituent. From the spectacular to the ordinary displays may change within a span of a metre.  One good display does not guarantee the integrity of the following one. Perhaps, that is why the rulebook on creativity remains un written. As a Jury, the overall presentation is considered, discussed and a decision is taken.
  • Who were the members who constituted the Jury.
Jury members constituted for judging this particular sector were: 1.  Shri Raibat Basu, Designer & Visiting Lecturer, Delhi         College of  Fine Arts. 2.    Shri Ashwani Lohani, Chief Mechanical Engineer, Northern Railway.
  • Criteria followed for such selection for the Prizes.
Criteria given to the Jury for deciding the awards: - Design & Display and Decoration - Thematic and special display - Management of Pavilions - Cleanliness and outdoor projection.
2. ITPO/PIC/12/02/2013 Shri  Hitlar Singh, New Delhi        
  • Whether it is true that there is acute shortage of staff of CSS/CSSS/CSCS in the Ministry/Department and also the work load has increased multifold.  If yes shortage of staff in each level may be furnished.

  • Is it also true that Ministry/Department is engaging personnel from the organizations under its administrative control i.e. PSUs/Subordinate organization/Attached bodies/Autonomous bodies etc. who are being paid salary from their parent organization and were suppose to work in Field  Organisations.  Copy of guidelines under which they have been engaged by the Ministry may be furnished.
  • The no. of such employees engaged by the Ministry from its administrative control of the Ministry i.e. PSUs/Subordinate organizations/ Attached Bodies/ Autonomous bodies etc. working in the Ministry may be furnished.
  • Whether to replace such employees, any proposal for creation of posts of CSS/CSSS/CSCS is under consideration in the Ministry.  If yes, no. of post being created at the level of Director, DS, US, SO, Assistant may be furnished.  Copy of the proposal may be furnished.
  • Whether working of employees in the Ministry/Department from the organizations under its administrative control of the Ministry/Department i.e. PSUs/Subordinate organisations/ Attached Bodies/ Autonomous bodies etc. is against the norms of DOP&T, as there is conflict of interest.

  • I want to inspect the file No.4-ITPO(28)/E-I/2012 pertaining to promotion to the post of Sr. Steno including all notings and correspondence pages.
  • Shri C.P. Maithani, Executive, has been nominated to arrange inspection of the file and you may inspect the file at 1530 hrs on 27.12.2013 in Public Information Cell, India Trade Promotion Organisation, New Delhi.
  • Kindly provide the certified copies of notings  from page no.14 to the date of providing the information of file No. 4-ITPO (28)/E-I/2012 pertaining to promotion to the post of Sr. Steno.
  • Certified copies (2 pages) can be obtained from Public Information Cell, India Trade Promotion Organisation, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
  • Kindly provide the certified copies of correspondence pages from page no.89 to last page i.e. upto the date of providing the information of file no. 4-ITPO(28)/E–I/2012 pertaining to the post of Sr. Steno.

  • I want to inspect the rule applicable in ITPO for preparation of panel for anticipated / chain vacancies for promotions/ DPCs under departmental competitive test for Sr. Stenographers and also want the certified copies of the same.
  • Copy of rule (1 page) can be obtained from PIC, ITPO, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
In case of non-selection posts, the panels for promotion will be prepared on the basis of seniority subject to rejection of the unfit.
  • I want to inspect the rule applied during the promotion of one Sr. Steno. In June. 2013 (Steno test held on 6.2.2013) and preparation of panel thereon and also want the certified copies of the same.
  • Refer to reply given at Sr. No.4 above.
  • I want to inspect the rules for conducting shorthand test for anticipated vacancies in a year for promotion to the post of Sr. Steno under test quota and competitive test quota and also want the certified copies of the same.
  • The test is conducted as per RRs.   Copy of RR(1 page) can be obtained from Public Information Cell, India Trade Promotion Organisation, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
  • Kindly mention the date from when the post of one Sr. Steno under SC quota was vacant/ back log under seniority quota for which the promotion was made in October, 2013.

6. ITPO/PIC/12/06/2013 Shri N.K. Sethi, New Delhi Inspection of complete file no. 13-ITPO(39)Vig./2005 .. all the volumes, and the Preliminary Enquiry conducted w.r.t. the Departmental Enquiry recently concluded against me.  After inspection of all these papers under the RTI Act, I will take photocopies of necessary pages (notings and correspondence) on payment. The applicant further stated that it may be pertinent to point out that earlier the said information was denied by the then Dy. PIO, Mr. M.M. Nagpal vide letter no.ITPO/PIC/04/08/2009 dated 15th May 2009 in response to my application dated 13th April 2009 citing Section 8(1)(h) of the RTI Act.  I am sure now the information cannot be denied to me as the Departmental Enquiry is already over. You are requested to provide me all the information URGENLY as I require the same for my proper Defence in sending comments/reply to Hon’ble Chairperson and Managing Director and Disciplinary Authority’s letter no. 13-ITPO(39)vig./2005(vol. VI) dated 10th December 2013, received yesterday. This is to inform you that inspection of above said file cannot be provided u/s  8(1)(h) of the RTI Act,  before the final orders are passed by the Disciplinary Authority and ultimate closure of the case after disposal of appeal, if any.

  • Total number of girl hired for ITPO Protocol & other ITPO Admn. services for IITf 2013 held at Pragati Maidan, Delhi from 14th to 27th November, 2013.
The total number of girl guides hired were 20 and extra 4 girls hired for Ministry of Science & Technology on need based basis and their requirement.

  • Shri Surendra Kumar, Manager entered which ground? Any advertisement published by TFAI/ITPO in any newspapers?  He has entered in back door entry in ITPO?  Please clarify with cutting of newspaper.
Surinder Kumar was appointed as daily wage Investigator.  He had been appointed as Investigator on regular basis along with other officials of ITPO since 19.4.1985.

  • Provide duty details of Gurgaon Resident in IITF, 2013 as a ITPO officials.  Why Smt. Indra, Smt. Anita Rawat, Sr. Asstt. not engaged/performed IITF duty since her joining in ITPO.  But some other lady officials performed IITF duty, Why.   In this context, Shri Surendera Kumar, Manager, responsible or not.
There is no specific policy/ guidelines enforce to deploy employees of ITPO for IITF.
  • Provide attendance details of S/Shri Surendra Kumar, Manager, S.P. Panda, DM from January 2013 to November 2013.  Any leave deducted against his absentee.

She was not transferred anywhere.  Transfers are effected only on need based basis.

4.to 8.   In ITPO, CSR activities are undertaken in C.S. Division with the approval of Board of Directors and in consultation with Social Welfare Department, Govt. of NCT, Delhi. The details of activities undertaken in the past three years  are as under:

2013-14 Project yet to be undertaken with the approval of Board of Directors --
  • The details of sector (fields) which is not undertaken any CSR activities by PSU.
  • I may supplied the complete information about the methodology adopted by PSUs in receiving proposals from various NGOs.

14. ITPO/PIC/12/14/2014 Shri Nitish Kumar New Delhi 1.    What is the Gross Salary of a new recruited Deputy  Manager (General Cadre) in India Trade Promotion Organisation. At present, Gross Salary of newly recruited Dy. Manager is Rs. 43,542/-
  • Newly Recruited Deputy Manager (General Cadre) in India Trade Promotion Organisation shall be posted in Pragati Maidan only or at any of the offices in India.
Posting can be made at Headquarter or any other Regional offices in India.
  • If suppose a newly recruited Deputy Manager (General  Cadre) in Indian Trade Promotion Organisation be posted at Pragati Maidan, then he will remain posted at Pragati Maidan for his/her entire lifetime.

15. ITPO/PIC/12/15/2014 Shri Banarasi Ram, Delhi Please  provide the certified copy of Memo/Charge-sheet with regard to Theft historical watch of Mahatma Gandhi/Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru displayed at Nehru & New India Pav. at Pragati Maidan issued to the then curator, Shri B.M. Tandon and thereof disposal against Memo/Charge-sheet issued to him.  If memo/charge-sheet did not issue against him please state the reason. This is to inform you that no charge sheet/memo was issued to the then Curator, Shri B.M. Tandon.

ITPO/PIC/12/16/2014 Shri Banarasi Ram, Delhi Provide the certified copies of No Dues Certificates issued by various Divisions against Sh Tanvir Ahmed, ex-GM retired in 2013.  If any recovery made from him against dues certified copy of recovery may also provide.
